About this offering

INFORMATION SESSION Attend the following information session to meet with the teaching staff, discuss the course and get more information about enrolment and next steps. Please attend a pre-enrolment Information and portfolio asessment session. Applicants applying for the Diploma of Live Production Design are required to submit a portfolio of original drawings and design work and should bring their work along to one of these portfolio sessions or make time to show their work by contacting julia.mcrae@tafensw.edu.au Include a minimum of 10 examples of work and your previous qualifications (academic transcripts). You will be advised on your eligibility for the course at that time in consultation with your assessor. Information/Portfolio Sessions: Wednesday, 14 and 21 June 2017 from 6.00pm to 8.00pm at Design Centre Enmore, 110 Edgeware Road Enmore, Building G, Room G.G.10/11. The Diploma of Live Production Design is unique to the award winning Design Centre Enmore. Students will explore all areas of production design for stage, film, festivals, events and television including set and costume, props, model making, prosthtetics and SFX make-up, art direction for film and editing techniques, lighting and construction techniques and entertainment management. Areas of study are delivered by some of Australia's most respected designers in our own film studion, editing, computer and workshop facilities.The course provides a pathway into the Advanced Diploma of Live production and Managements Services which is also unique to the Design Centre Enmore. Graduates that have completed their Advanced Diploma might expect employment across a broad range of creative industries in the entertainment sphere and beyond including corporate and community events and festivals, professional and community theatre, television production houses and the film industry.
