FEE-HELP Eligible Course:

FEE-HELP is part of the Higher Education Loan Program (HELP). If you are an eligible full-fee paying student undertaking an accredited Higher Education award course such as undergraduate and postgraduate degrees or graduate certificate and graduate diploma courses, you have the option to pay your tuition fees upfront or to defer all or part of your tuition fees through a FEE-HELP student loan. There is a 25% loan fee for undergraduate programs.

You repay the loan to the Australian Government through the tax system once you reach the minimum income threshold level for repayment.

From 1 January 2016, New Zealand citizens on a Special Category Visa who meet residency requirements may be eligible for a FEE-HELP loan. A loan form is available from your college. For more information, please go to the TAFE NSW website.

Please ensure you have:

  • Your Tax File Number, which you are required to provide
  • Your Commonwealth Higher Education Support Number (CHESSN), if you have one. Students who have studied under a Commonwealth program before will already have a CHESSN. Otherwise, we will allocate you a CHESSN as part of your enrolment.
