**IS THIS COURSE RIGHT FOR YOU?** This course equips students with skills to overcome barriers and provides access to a Year 12 equivalency course and further academic study. This course delivers academic pathway and study skills that underpin the acquisition of higher education qualifications, enabling access to a wide range of careers and opportunities. **MORE ABOUT THIS COURSE** This course can function as an alternative to a Year 11 qualification, providing a recognised pathway to higher Vocational Education and Training (VET) studies, return to studies in the HSC or articulation to alternative to Year 12 course – 10767NAT Certificate IV in Tertiary Preparation (TPC). This course is equivaelnt to the first half of the course 10767NAT Certificate IV in Tertiary Preparation. Students who complete this course can then enrol and complete 10767NAT Certificate IV in Tertiary Preparation in semester 2, 2020. This course is intended to provide students with the following educational outcomes: • a pathway to, and articulation into, Certificate IV in Tertiary Preparation • equivalent qualification to school Year 11 • entry to further study in the Vocational Education and Training sector **SERVICES AND STUDY SUPPORT**

To be eligible for government subsidised training under the Smart and Skilled program, individuals must meet personal eligibility requirements including:
  • You must live or work in NSW
  • You must be an Australian citizen, Australian permanent resident, Australian permanent humanitarian visa holder, or a New Zealand citizen. Temporary Visa Holders who are contracted NSW Apprentices / NSW Trainees may be eligible for government subsidised funding. Please contact your TAFE college/campus
  • You must be 15 years old or older
  • You must have left school
